A Nigerian lady based in Luxembourg has taken to social media to express her frustration after discovering she had sent a total of â¦13.4 million to her family and friends in Nigeria over a span of about 19 months-yet some still expect more from her.
The revelation was made in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by the user @health_basicTip, who explained that she checked her LemFi account balance and was shocked by the amount she had transferred between December 2023 and July 2025.
She wrote:
"I just requested my LemFi account balance and realized that between December 2023 and July 2025, I've sent approximately â¦13.5 million to Nigeria-all in the name of urgent â¦10k, â¦5k, â¦50k, etc."
Expressing her frustration further, she added:
"What pains me most is that some people still want me to send them a car."
The post quickly gained attention, with many social media users flooding the comment section to share their thoughts-ranging from sympathy to criticism and personal experiences.
