University of Abuja Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Olanrewaju Tejuoso, revealed that 2,000 out of the 4,000 hectares left to the institution by Minister Nyesom Wike consist mostly of mountainous terrain.
He made this known while speaking with Arise TV.
It would be recalled that the FCT minister had slashed University of Abuja land mass from 11,000 hectares to 4,000.
Dr Tejuoso noted that the Cancer Research Centre of Nigeria wanted to partner with UniAbuja to develop a research centre.
However, he noted that out of the 4,000 hectares that was left by minister Wike 2,000 consist of mountains.
His words ...
"Even the 4,000 hectares, 2,000 out of it is a mountain. When you fly out of the airport, the mountain you see is in the university. Looking at what has been proposed, we only have 2,000 hectares, because we have a mountain of 2,000. Maybe minister Wike should come and take over the mountain and develop it...."
